Broccoli Dip

- 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 sm. onion-chopped
- 2 T. butter
- 1 6 oz. roll garlic cheese
- 1 t. Worchestershire sauce
- 3/4 c. sliced almonds
- 1/4 t. tabasco sauce
- 1 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 t. monoglut.
- 1/4 t. black pepper
Chicken and Ramen Soup

My son fixes this delicious soup!
- 1 T. vegetable oil
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, trimmed
- Salt and pepper
- 5 scallions, white and green parts separated and sliced thin
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 T. grated fresh ginger
- 6 c. chicken broth
- 2 T. dry sherry
- 2 T. soy sauce, plus extra as needed
- 3 c. shredded coleslaw mix(the one with carrots, etc. in in it)
- 3 c. baby spinach(3 oz.)
- 1 T. sesame oil, plus extra as needed
- Noodles from store bought ramen noodle soup, discard seasoning packet
Italian Pot Roast with Pasta

Trim fat from roast. In a small bowl, combine garlic salt, fennel seed, and pepper; rub into roast on all sides
- 1 3 pound boneless beef chuck pot roast
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon fennel seed, toasted and crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 medium fennel bulbs, trimmed, cored, and cut into thin wedges
- 3 medium carrots, halved lenthwise and bias-sliced in 2-inch lengths (1 1/2 cups)
- 1 large onion, cut into thin wedges (1 cup)
- 1 26 ounce jar pasta sauce
- 2 cups hot cooked penne pasta
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Banana Foster Crepes

Directions Warm butter and sugar in a saute pan over medium heat until butter melts, 1 to 2 minutes
- 1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup dark-brown sugar
- 2 ripe bananas, cut into 1/4-inch rounds
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of coarse salt
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 4 small Basic Crepes
- 1/2 cup creme fraiche or vanilla ice cream
White Chicken Chili

Drain and rinse the canned white beans
- 2 (14.5-ounce) cans white beans
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper, minced
- 2 medium poblano peppers, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ancho chili powder
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 limes, juiced, plus lime wedges, for serving
- 1 rotisserie chicken, skin removed and meat shredded
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaves
- Sour cream, for topping
- Tortilla chips, coarsely crushed, for topping
Easy Chicken and Pasta

Chicken, vegetables and pasta simmer together in a creamy mushroom sauce, touched with basil, for a carefree skill...
- 1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut up
- 1 T. vegetable oil
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
- 2 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 t. dried basil leaves, crushed
- 2 c. frozen vegetable combination(broccoli, cauliflower, carrots)
- 2 c. uncooked corkscrew pasta
Potatoes with Bacon and Onion

Homemake stock adds body to the glaze, but store-bought also works well
- 2 1/2 lb. medium potatoes, such as fingerling or Yukon Gold, peeled
- 4 c. chicken stock, preferably homemade
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 dried bay leaf
- 6 stems thyme
- 1 plum tomato, cut into large pieces
- Coars salt and freshly ground pepper
- 6 oz. sliced bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/2 medium onion, halved crosswise and thinly sliced
Strip House Potatoes Romanoff

- 3 large russet potatoes, about 2 lb. total, unpeeled and scrubbed
- 3/4 cup minced shallots
- 2 1/2 cups grated white cheddar cheese
