Reuben-Style Casserole with Pastrami Meatballs.Sauerkraut and Barley

- 3/4 pound ground beef
- 3/4 pound ground pork
- Kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon coriander, a scant palmful
- 1 tablespoon paprika, a scant palmful
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic, a palmful
- 1 tablespoon coarse black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons allspice, half a palmful
- 1/2 About 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or ground red pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 3/4 About 3/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 2 to 3 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
- Olive oil spray
- 1 1/4 cups pearled barley
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 1 pound sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
- 2 cups Swiss cheese, grated, about 3/4 pound brick
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup pickle relish

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp (155 ml) mango chutney, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) curry powder or to taste
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz/ 175 g each)
- 1 1/2 cups cups (375 ml) shredded Canadian aged cheddar cheese
- pinch Pinch all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) finely chopped cashews

Coat the ribs well in the crumb and flour mixture
- Ingredients
- 4 or 5 lb. short cut spare ribs
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. Chinese allspice
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. MSG or Accent
- 1/4 cup Chinese wine or Scotch (optional-I don't use it)
- Mix above together and marinate for at least 2 hours. Preferably overnight.
- Mix
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 2 cup flour

- 2 packages (3 oz each) sliced prosciutto
