Chicken Wild Rice Soup

In a large saucepan, sauté the carrots, onion and celery in butter until tender
- 12 C. sliced carrots
- 3 C. chopped onion
- 3 C. chopped celery
- 12 Tbs. butter
- 18 Tbs. flour
- 174 oz. chicken broth
- 15 1/5 C. cubed cooked chicken
- 1 lg. bag wild rice, prepared
- 1 1/2 C. half & half
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- basil and oregano as desired
Strawberries and Cream Dessert Squares

1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom only of 15x10x1- or 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray
- 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 cup white vanilla baking chips (6 oz)
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Slow Cooker Bacon and Corn Chowder

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Saute onion in butter, set aside
- 5 Tbs. butter, melted
- 2 1/2 C. onion, chopped
- 1 1/4 C. butter melted
- 1 1/4 C. flour
- 10 C. half N half
- 10 C. chicken broth
- 2 1/2 lbs. broccoli, cut up
- 5 C. carrots, julienned
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 40 oz. grated cheddar cheese
