Fried Rice in a Mug

Place the rice into a large mug and cover with cling film
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 2 TBS frozen peas
- 2 TBS chopped red pepper
- 1/2 green onion, chopped
- small pinch of mung bean sprouts
- small pinch of shredded purple cabbage
- 1 large egg
- 1 TBS low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp five-spice powder
Banana Split Ice Cream Cake

Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
- 1 chocolate pound cake
- 1 banana, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons chopped peanuts
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced strawberries
- For serving: hot fudge, whipped cream and maraschino cherries

- 1 tsp. strawberry extract, opt.

These lovely desserts are impressive but really easy to make
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 4 cups apples, diced
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Powdered sugar for garnish
- Caramel ice cream topping for garnish

- 3 pints (1 1/2 pounds) white button mushrooms
- 2 shallots, peeled and roughly chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and roughly chopped
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves only
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- For the Beef:
- 1 (3-pound) center cut beef tenderloin (filet mignon), trimmed
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 12 thin slices prosciutto
- 6 sprigs of fresh thyme, leaves only
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Flour, for rolling out puff pastry
- 1 pound puff pastry, thawed if using frozen

Roast Mushroom Pizza Recipe

Make the dough: In the bowl of a stand mixer, fitted with the dough hook attachment, combine all of the ingredients
- For the Dough:
- 2 1/2 cups 00 flour
- 2 1/4 dups all purpose flour, plus more for dusting
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon yeast
- For the Roast Mushrooms: 12 ounces oyster mushrooms, roughly torn
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
- For the Herb Purée:
- 1 cup basil leaves
- 1 cup parsley leaves
- 1 cup arugula
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander

- 1 pound lean ground beef (I used 96% lean)
- 1 (1 oz.) packet taco seasoning
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 36 wonton wrappers
- Favorite Taco toppings: salsa, sour cream, etc

- FROSTING:
- 4 strips bacon, for garnish
- 12 ounces extra-sharp white Cheddar, grated
- 1/4 cup grated extra-sharp yellow Cheddar
- 1 (7-ounce) jar pimentos, drained and finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
