Spritz Cookies

Preheat oven to 350ºF. In bowl, combine flour and baking powder
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups butter softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon no-color almond extract
Oreo Cookie Dessert

Mix together Oreo cookies and melted margarine
- 1 lb. pkg. Oreo cookies (crushed)
- 1/4 c. melted margarine
- 2 boxes instant french vanilla pudding
- 3 c. milk
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/4 c. melted margarine
- 8 oz. cartoon of Cool Whip
Rhubarb Strawberry Mousse

Cook rhubarb, water and sugar until rhubarb is tender and falls apart
- 3 c. rhubarb - cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Knox gelatin
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 pint strawberries
- 2 eggs whites
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tarter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
Winter Vegetable Soup

Simmer ground beef with onion and celery in beef broth until meat is done and vegetables are tender
- 1 lb very lean ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 stalks celery sliced
- 1 can corn, drained
- 3-4 carrots sliced
- 3 potatoes diced
- 1 can beef broth
- 4 cups v-8 juice
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Rhubarb Servire Pie

Pour sugar over rhubarb, set 45 minutes in saucepan, cook till tender, add jello, mix till dissolves
- 1-3 oz. box strawberry jello
- 3 c. diced rhubarb
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1-3 oz. box instant vanilla pudding
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 8 oz. cool whip
Shrimp Linguine

Cook shrimp and garlic in butter in a heavy skillet over medium high heat
- 1 lb. unpeeled medium size fresh shrimp
- 4 oz. angel hair pasta,cooked
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. butter melted
- 1 c. half and half
- 1/2 tsp. dried dill
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- Sundried tomatoes
- Red, green and yellow peppers
Shrimp Fra Diavolo

Bring salted water to a boil and place the pasta in the pot
- 1 lb linguine
- 6 T. olive oil
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced red pepper
- 3 T. minced garlic
- 1/4-1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes
- 2-3 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 1/2 cups canned tomato sauce
- 2 T. tomato paste
- 1 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined with tails removed
- 1 tsp. salt plus more for pasta water
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Apple, Dried Cherry, And Walnut Salad With Maple Dressing

For dressing: Whisk mayonnaise, maple syrup, vinegar, and sugar in medium bowl to blend
- Maple Dressing
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. pure maple syrup
- 3 tbsp. champagne vinegar or other white wine vinegar
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- Salad
- 1 5-oz. bag mixed baby greens (about 10 c. lightly packed)
- 2 granny smith apples, peeled, cored, cut into matchstick-size strips
- 1/2 c. dried tart cherries
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, toasted
