Italian Herb Skillet Bread

- 7 Rhodes frozen dinner rolls
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted

- 2 cups plus 2 tablespoons (10 5/8 ounces) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and cooled until warm
- 1 cup packed (7 ounces) light or dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (3 1/2 ounces) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1-1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Pumpkin Meringue Tartelettes

Makes 8 small tartelettes (3 inches diameter) or one 9 inch round pie
- Sable Dough:
- 1 stick (115 gr) butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup (93 gr) powdered sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 1 /2 cups (188gr) flour
- 2 tablespoons (20 gr) cornstarch (makes for a lighter crumb)pinch of salt
- For the Pumpkin Filling:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup canned pumpkin (not the whole can but 8 oz)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- pinch of salt
- 2/3 cup whole milk
- For the Italian Meringue:
- 2 egg whites (60 grams)
- 1/2 cup (100gr) sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
Peppermint Popcorn Bark

Peppermint Popcorn Bark is a great Holiday version of Monster Munch
- 2 bags microwave popcorn, popped (18-20 cups)
- 1 box (6 ounce) candy canes, crushed
- 1 package Almond Bark
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract or a few drops of peppermint oil
Easy Parmesan Knots

These are easy to make because they start off with a can of refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 tube (12 ounces) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits ( I used Pillsbury Golden Layers Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits)
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated (I did use the green can stuff)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

- 1 to 2 ounces fresh basil, julienned (1/2 to 1 cup loosely packed)
Banana Pudding Recipe

1. Separate the yolks from the whites of 3 eggs
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus an extra pinch for the meringue
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 30 to 40 vanilla wafers
- 5 to 6 medium ripe bananas
- Pinch of salt

- 3 to 4 medium ripe bananas
Tagliarelle with Truffle Butter

Add 1 tablespoon salt to a large pot of water and bring to a boil
- Kosher salt
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 ounces white truffle butter
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 (8.82-ounce) package Cipriani tagliarelle dried pasta or other egg fettuccine
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 3 ounces Parmesan, shaved thin with a vegetable peeler
