Banana Bread

Mix ingredients in order. Bake in loaf pan in moderate oven about one hour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 eggs-slightly beaten
- 3 Tablespoons sour milk (2 1/2 Tablespoons milk 1/2 Tablespoon vinegar)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda- dissolved in sour milk
- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- 2 cups flour

- 4 1/2 cups Corn Flakes
- 1 cube margarine
- 3 1/2 cup large marshmellows—8 per cup-28 total large-(280 mini)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons green food color

Grease 13x9 baking dish Preheat oven to 275 degrees F
- 6 egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Equivalent sweetener = 1/2 cup sugar (1/2 cup Splenda, around 1/8 bup erythritol, etc - to your taste)
- lemon curd
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup xylitol blend sweetener (or another zero calorie sweetener equivalent to 1/2 cup sugar)
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup lemon zest
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 pt whipped cream
- 3 packets Splenda
Low-Carb Clam Chowder

1. Chop bacon into small cubes and cook until crisp
- 3 pieces thick-sliced bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped small
- 2 medium celery stalks, chopped small
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning (1 teaspoon if you like your soup a little spicy)
- OR 1/2 teaspoon celery salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper
- Flour or low-carb thickener - see introductory note
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup unsweetened soymilk (if you don't eat soy, can use milk, half and half, or even water)
- 1 cup clam juice
- 3 cups chopped cauliflower
- 2 6 1/2 oz cans of chopped clams or 1 10 oz can whole baby clams
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

- 1/4 pound Jack Cheese cut in strips
- 2 4 ounce cans green chilies -drained
- 3 separated eggs
- 3 Tablespoons flour
- Salad oil for deep frying

- 1/4 cup grated cheddar
- Sauce
- 1 1pound can stewed tomatoes
- 2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves

- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 2 pound browned cubed beef chuck
- 2 peeled chopped tomatoes
- 1 large onion in chunks
- 1/2 cup sliced celery
- 2 Tablespoons parsley
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups cubed pared potato I use red
- 1 cup pared carrots
- 1 10 ounce package frozen peas.

- 2 zucchini – cut into 4ths – length wise
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
