Baked Bean Casserole

Mix through and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees
- 1 28oz. por and Beans leave some juice
- 1 pound can kidney bean drain
- 1 pound can lima bean drain
- 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup minced onions
- 1/2 cup raw bacon cubed
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

Cream shortening and sugar in large bowl Beat in eggs one at a time Blend bananas and lemon juice
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (4 to 5 med.)
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon baking sodat and salt
- 1 1/3 cup unsifted flour
- 1/2 cup chopped dried aricots mixed with 1 tablespoon flour
Waldorf Red Cake

Cream butter, sugar, and eggs and blend
- Frosting:
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 oz. red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cocoa
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream or buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup butter
Cucumber and Sweet Onion Salad

In a large bowl toss together cucumber onion, dill, oil, lemon juice, and vinegar, season with salt and pepper
- 3 English cucumbers halved lengthwise and thinly sliced on the diagonal
- 1 medium sweet onion, such as Vidalia halved and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup cup fresh dill coarsely chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
Four Veggie Roast

In a large bowl combine olive oil, soy sauce and ginger
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 large carrotts, peeled and bias-sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 1/2 cups fresh green beans (6oz.) cut into 2 inch pieces
- 5 or 6 small new potatoes (8oz.) halved
- 1 small onion cut into wedges
- freshly ground black pepper

In a large bowl cover potatoes with water by 2 inches, refrigerate at least 3 hours or up to overnight
- 3 pounds russet potatoes about 6 large cut lengthwise into 1/4 inch wide strips
- nonstick cooking spray
- 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
- coarse salt and ground pepper

Combine first 3 and slowly add flour Can cup in 1/2 Tis recipe makes 8 cups of MIX
- 1 1/2 cups softened butter
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 6 cups flour
- Can store for 4 weeks covered in refrigerator
Peanut butter cookies

- 1/2 cup butter or margarine or shortening
- 1/2 cup peanut buter
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Creamy Lemon Squares

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1/2 Cup unsalted butter room temp. plus more for pan
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, plus more for dusting
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all purpose flour spooned and leveled
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
Vegetable Soup

Bring to a boil then simmer it to Death
- 1 to 2 pounds stew meat. Brown in large pan (5 quart). Add 1 onion sliced/cut up.saute a bit then dump in
- 1 large (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, nearly a can of water to rinse out
- 1 can V8 either spicy or regular
- 4 to 5 beef boillon cubes
- 1 package frozen soup vegetables or pour in your own combo of beans, peas, corn, mixed veg. Salt and pepper to taste.
