Kidney Bean Casserole

- Meatballs:
- 3 cans kidney beans
- 1/2 lb. aOld English Cheese (Kraft)
- 3 green peppers
- 2 cups onion, chopped
- 5 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/2 teasp. salt
- 1/2 teasp. pepper
- 2-8 oz. cans tomato sauce
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teasp. salt
- 1/2 teasp. pepper

Best Whoopie Pies

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Whoopie Cake - Devil Dog Cake
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 6 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine (salted butter) Note: Some whoopie pie purists say that solid vegetable shortening should be used instead of butter. At some point I will try using vegetable shortening instead and then comparing results.
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- Marshmallow Cream Filling
- 6 tablespoons of salted butter or margarine, slightly softened. Note: Some whoopie pie purists say that solid vegetable shortening should be used instead of butter. At some point I will try using vegetable shortening instead and then comparing results.

Simmer white fillets in water with salt, pepper, thyme bay leaves oeooercirbsm garlic
- 4-6 white fish fillets, flounder, fluke etc.
- 4 qts water

- 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine.
- 3 lg onions
- 8 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 lb. 12 oz. can tomatoes
- 1 10oz. can beef consomme
- 1 cup ketchup
- 8 sprigs parsley
- 2 Tbsp. worsteshire sauce
- 2 teasp. lemon juice
- 2 lbs. peeled diced potatoes
- 6 carrots chopped
- A good dose of Sherry Peppers
Linguine with White Clam Sauce

Heat oil and saute garlic for 1 minute then sprinkle in flour
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 teasp. finely chopped garlic
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 3 cans (6 1/2 oz.) minced clams, reserve juice
- 1/4 cup bottled clam juice
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 teasp. each, salt and pepper
- 1/4 teasp. ground thyme
- 1/2 teasp. grated lemon peel
- 8 oz. linguine cooked and drained (I use 8oz.)

- 4 cloves garlic, smashed and finely chopped
- 3 large tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch dice
- 1 small bundle fresh thyme
- 1 red pepper, stems, seeds and pith removed and cut into 1/2-inch dice
- 1 medium eggplant, cut into 1/2-inch dice
- 1 large or 2 small summer squash, cut into 1/2-inch dice
- 1 large zucchini, cut into 1/2-inch dice
- 6 fresh basil leaves, cut into chiffonade
