Hot Chocolate

Nothing saves you from the cold like a warm cup of hot chocolate!
- 16 oz milk
- 6 oz milk or dark chocolate
- Pinch ground cinnamon (preferably toasted in pan and grated on microplane)
- Pinch sugar
- Sweetened whipped cream (whipped to soft peak)
Chocolate Freeze

This adult chocolatey drink has got a kick to it
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 4 teaspoon Nesquik chocolate drink mix
- 2 cup Vanilla ice cream
- 1 ounce Coffee liqueur
- 1 ounce Dark rum
Tom Ka Gai (Coconut Chicken Soup)

"The quintessential Thai soup
- 3/4 pound boneless, skinless chicken meat/or more
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 (14 ounce) cans coconut milk & 1/3 can coconut cream(low-fat)
- 2 cups water--sub chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
- 4 tablespoons fish sauce/soy sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice--double this amount--simmer with lime slices and remove before serving.
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper/chili sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric--can omit this entirely
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro--can double this amount--garnish just before serving
- Lemongrass/Lime Kaffir leaves
- Touch of Splenda at the end to sweeten
- Add mushrooms(sauteed) or tofu(sauteed)instead of chicken--or with.
Ginger-Garlic Wings with Lebanese Yogurt Dipping Sauce

These wings are great a great snack for game day, daily dinner or even for a picnic
- For the Marinade:
- 2-3 cups buttermilk
- 2 teaspoon ground ginger (plus 3 tbsp for cleaning chicken)
- 1 pound chicken wings
- 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 4 tablespoon ground ginger (divided)
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sesame oil
- 3-4 tablespoon honey
- salt and pepper
- For the Yogurt Dipping Sauce:
- 2 cups full-fat yogurt (not Greek)
- 1/4 cup fresh mint (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon all-spice
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper to taste
Rempel Family Meatloaf

"Tired of boring old meat loaf? Well give this one a try
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup crushed buttery round crackers
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons steak sauce
- Glaze: 3T Ketchup,1T Honey,& 1/2 t Worch. OR Sub Chili Sauce for Ketchup, sub Cheese Crackers,pepper jack crackers, lemon juice
- sub Minced Onion for soup mix
- Don't forget that you can add pork and/or veal to receipe.

- 1 Can Manwich
- Caramelize Onions
- TIP: Put 2 pieces of white bread under loaf to absorb grease...discard after cooking.

- 8 slices bread, cubed--or herb & garlic croutons--baguette
- 4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard powder--can omit
- 2 cups milk
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup--Or cream of celery
- 1/2 cup milk
Beef with Caramelized Shallots

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 (1 pound) boneless beef sirloin steak, 3/4-inch thick, cut into thin strips
- 6 medium shallots, cut in quarters
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
- 2 packets Swanson® Flavor Boost™ Concentrated Beef Broth
- 1/3 (12 ounce) package medium egg noodles, cooked and drained
