Mom's frozen corn
- 9 cups corn
- 2 1/2 cups of water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tblsp salt (Kosher/canning)
Wild Rice Hotdish

Cover wild rice with chunks of cooked chicken or turkey
- 1 (12 oz) pkg uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice (cook as directed)
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cans mushrooms
Potato Ham Soup

Saute in 3 tblsp butter: Onion, carrots, celery, diced ham & garlic
- 1 1/2 lb gold potato (or any other kind will work)
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 celery
- 8 oz diced smoked ham
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup cream
- salt and pepper to taste

- 8 bananas
- 1 bag caramel bits or caramels cut into bits
- 1 bag chocolate chips
- 1 package original graham crackers, crushed into crumbs
Chicken Parmigiana

Mix the flour and some salt and pepper together on a large plate
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, trimmed and pounded flat
- 1 pound thin linguine
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 whole medium onion, chopped
- 3/4 cups chicken stock
- Three 14.5-ounce cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, plus more for serving
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan, plus more if needed
- Basil chiffonade, for serving
Paula Deen's Red Velvet Cupcakes

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pound cream cheese, softened
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
- Chopped pecans and fresh raspberries or strawberries, for garnish
Parrots Cay Mix

Mix together and put in 3-5 oz cups
- 1 1/2 lbs butter
- 1 lb margerine
- 1 lb sour cream
- 1/4 cup cumin
- 1/4 cup onion powder
- 1/4 cup cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup cajum seasoning
- 1/2 cup dry ranch dressing
Old Bay Shrimp Boil

In an 8-quart stock pot, bring Old Bay, salt, water and beer to a boil
- 1/2 cup Old Bay Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 4 quarts water
- 1 12- ounce can beer
- 8 medium red potatoes, cut in quarters
- 2 large Vidalia or other sweet onions, cut in wedges
- 2 pounds smoked sausage, cut in 2-inch lengths
- 8 ears frozen corn on the cob, thawed
- 4 pounds large shrimp, in shells
Hot Apple Cider

Cook in 30 cup perculating coffee pot and remove basket when done
- (Place following in basket of 30 cup coffee pot):
- 1 gallon apple cider
- 1 pint cranberry juice
- 1 can frozen orange juice (with 1 1/2 cans water)
- 1/2 cup Red Hots
- 2 sticks of cinnamon
- 12 cloves
Doughnuts

Roll out, cut and fry in lard
- In mixing bowl, add:
- 5 eggs (beaten)
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup sweet cream
- 2 tsp. soda
- 7 cups flour
- nutmeg
- vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
- Mix well
