- 1/2 pound Butter
- 2 1/2 pound Onion ; sliced
- 1 quart Beef stock
- 1 quart Chicken stock
- 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Celery salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- Bay leaf
Crustless Cranberry Pie

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Classic Caesar Salad

Mash garlic with salt using the side of a knife blade to make a paste; set aside
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 2 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Anchovy paste
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 3 tablespoon Parmesan ; shredded
- 8 cups Romaine ; chopped
- Parmesan shavings
Calico Beans

Brown chopped bacon - drain
- 1/2 pound Polish Sausage
- 1/2 pound Ground beef
- 1/2 pound Bacon ; chopped
- 1/2 cup Onion ; chopped
- 1/2 cup Green pepper ; chopped
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cans Beans ; Lima, kidney, northern beans, garbanzo beans, or pinto.
Gazpacho

Combine all ingredients and chill for at least 4 hours
- 1/2 cup Cucumber ; diced
- 4 Tomato ; peeled and chopped
- 1/2 Onion ; finely chopped
- 1 clove Garlic ; minced
- 1/2 cup Green pepper ; chopped
- 1/4 cup Red wine vinegar
- 2 cups Tomato juice
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
Pasta e Fagioli Soup

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium high heat, add carrots, stirring occasionally
- 2-3 carrots, sliced
- 2-3 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic ; minced, about 1 tsp.
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 can (28 oz.) Crushed tomatoes
- 2 can (14-16 oz.) Chicken broth
- 2 cans (16 oz.) Great Northern beans
- 1 cup Ditalini or tubetti pasta
- 1/2 bag (10 oz.) Baby spinach
- Parmesan or Romano ; freshly grated
- Salt & pepper ; to taste
- Oregano ; to taste
Apple Martini

- 2 parts vodka
- 1 part triple sec
- 1 part apple pucker
Slow Cooker Braised Short Ribs

Season the short ribs with salt and pepper
- 4 lb. bone-in beef short ribs
- Salt ; and freshly ground pepper
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbs. olive oil ; plus more as needed
- 2 large yellow onions ; chopped
- 3 large carrots ; peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks
- 4 garlic cloves ; chopped
- 1 bottle ; (750ml) full-bodied red wine
- 1 can ; (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 3 fresh thyme sprigs
- 2 fresh rosemary sprigs
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 to 2 cups beef stock
Chinese Beef and String Beans

Heat oil. Add garlic, ginger, meat and onions
- 3 tablespoon Oil
- 1 clove Garlic ; minced
- 1 cube Beef bouillon ; dissolved in 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon Ginger
- 1 pound Ground beef
- 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 Onion ; chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 package French style green beans ; frozen
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon Parsley
Broccoli, Grape and Pasta Salad

1. Preheat oven to 350°
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 (16-oz.) package farfalle (bow-tie) pasta
- 1 pound fresh broccoli
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup diced red onion
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups seedless red grapes, halved
- 8 cooked bacon slices, crumbled
