Strawberry Lemonade

Combine sugar and 4 cups of water in a medium pan
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup grenadine
No Bake Berry Lemon Cheesecake

In a medium bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs and 1 tablespoon of sugar and melted butter
- Crust:
- 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- For the Filling:
- 2/3 cup sugar
- zest of 2 lemons
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 (8 ounce) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup thawed, frozen berries, slightly mashed with a fork
- Can be made into one large cheesecake (shallow) or individual servings (try mini tart pans)
Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Buttercream

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- For the frosting:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups good cocoa powder
- 2 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 3 extra-large eggs, at room temperature
- 3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup sour cream, at room temperature
- 3 tablespoons brewed coffee
- 24 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
