Zesty Mini Crab Cakes

Heat broiler. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, mustard and tabasco
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. tabasco sauce
- 9 saltine crackers, crushed
- 8 oz. crab meat
- 1 scallion, finely chopped
- 2 1/2 tsp. grated lemon zest
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- Black pepper
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. mayo
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. capers, rinsed and chopped
Giant Double Chocolate Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 stick butter, cubed
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 1/2 c. semi sweet chips
Turtle Cookies

Prepare the Cookies: Combine flour, cocoa, and salt; set aside
- Cookie:
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 8 T. (1 stick) butter, softened
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 large egg, separated, plus 1 additional egg white
- 2 T. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 c. pecans, finely chopped
- Caramel Filling:
- 14 soft caramel candies
- 3 T. heavy cream
- Chocolate Drizzle (optional):
- 2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate (I used 2 squares of Baker's semi-sweet chocolate)
- 1 tsp. shortening

Mix garlic powder, thyme and cayenne in a bowl
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 pound beef steak, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2-3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 2 4.6 ounce wild rice box mixes
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2-2 1/2 tablespoon green onion, chopped
Blueberry Lemon Coffee Cake

Heat oven to 400°F. Grease 9-inch round cake pan
- 1 egg
- 2 cups Original Bisquick® mix
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
- 1 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) blueberries, rinsed, well drained
- 1/4 cup Original Bisquick® mix
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar
- 3 to 4 teaspoons lemon juice
Pink Almond Party Cake

Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan)
- Cake:
- 1 box white cake mix
- Water, vegetable oil and egg whites called for on cake mix box
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 6 drops red food color (or any other color)
- Frosting:
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 4 to 5 tablespoons milk
Glazed Chocolate Pound Cake

Preheat oven to 325 F with a rack in the lower third
- Cake
- 1 cup (5 oz) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 oz milk chocolate, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 5 large eggs, at room temperature
- Glaze
- 3.5 oz semisweet chocolate (60% or less cacao), finely chopped
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons light corn syrup
Peanut Butter and Pear Sandwiches

Spread peanut butter on one side of four slices of bread
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 8 slices whole wheat bread
- 1/2 c. raisins, optional
- 2 ripe pears, peeled, cored and sliced length wise
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon honey
Cherry Swirl Coffee Cake

- Coffee Cake:
- 4 cups Original Bisquick® mix
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 eggs
- 2 cans (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
Beefy Bites
