- 8 ounce semi sweet chocolate (finely chopped)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) salted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed dark or light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup almonds, chopped
Ginger Dumpling Soup

Place broth, chili and ginger in a large pot
- 6 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 sm. red chili, thinly sliced
- 1 in. piece of ginger, thinly sliced
- 1/2 sm. head cabbage, chopped
- 12 oz. frozen veggie pot stickers
- 1 c. snow peas, thawed
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. rice vinegar

Make the Crust: Preheat the oven to 350°F
- For the crust:
- 20 Oreo cookies (regular-stuffed, filling intact)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- For the filling:
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade
- For the peanut butter whipped cream:
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Additional caramel sauce, for drizzling
- Additional peanut butter, melted, for drizzling
- Additional semisweet chocolate, melted, for drizzling
South of the Border Stuffed Peppers

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the red pepper and onion
- Toppings:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 2-4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 14oz. can diced tomatoes
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 medium green peppers
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese or pepper jack
- 2 green onions, chopped
Italian Love Cake

Preheat your oven to 350*F and spray a 9×13 inch pan with nonstick spray
- 1 package chocolate cake mix (I recommend using Betty Crocker brand), and the ingredients needed to make the cake according to the package
- 2 lbs. ricotta cheese
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 (5.1 oz.) package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup cold milk
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
Fried Rice

Put the mushrooms in a small bowl and cover with boiling water and soak until re-hydrated, about 20 minutes
- 8 dried mushrooms diced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten with a pinch of kosher salt
- 4 scallions (white and green), thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup minced carrot
- few cloves of garlic, minced
- Pinch red chile flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 3 cups cooked instant rice
- 1 cup cooked meat cut in 1/2-inch cubes, such as pork, ham, beef, or chicken
- 1/2 cup frozen peas, defrosted in a strainer at room temperature
Honey Lemon Chicken Salad

Place chicken in a large pot and cover in cold salted water
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- salt
- 1/2 c. mayo
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 honeycrisp or Fuji apple, cored and diced
- 2 ribs celery, sliced
- 1/2 small red onion, sliced
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds
- 6 c. mixed greens
