- 1/2 cup water, divided
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1-1/4 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped
CHERRY CHEESE PIZZA

In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder; cut in butter and shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
- TOPPING:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/8 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup cold butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp shortening
- 3 - 4 Tbsp water
- 1 pkg (8 0z) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans or almonds
- 2 1/2 cup fresh or frozen pitted tart cherries
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 1/8 tsp almond extract
- 1/8 tsp red food colouring, optional
- Whipped cream and fresh mint, optional
POTATO SALAD

- 6 cups cooked and cubed potatoes
- 5 hard boiled eggs chopped
- 4 chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup miracle whip
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper

Fabulous Beef Stew

My family thinks this is fabulous, and that is all that matters
- 1 1/2 lbs stew meat
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1 1/2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
- 3 -4 potatoes, cubed
- 4 -5 carrots, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes, with juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch, mixed with water below
- 1/4 cup cold water
