- 2 lb (900 g) chicken wings
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp hot red pepper sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp light brown sugar
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- For Dip
- 2/3 cups sour cream, for dip
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese, such as Roquefort or Danish blue, for dip
- 2 tbsp snipped chives, for dip
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, for dip

Directions: *Place butter in a large mixing bowl and blend slightly
- 1/2 cup (1 stick/8 Tablespoons) butter (set at room temp about 10 minutes, but should still be cool)
- 8 oz. cream cheese (directly from fridge)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (always use pure vanilla extract if possible)
- 4 cups powdered confectioners sugar
- 1 to 4 Tablespoons heavy cream, heavy whipping cream (or milk- although I do like the richness that cream adds)
