Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

In a slow cooker, gradually stir water into soup until smooth
- 2 10.75oz cans condensed cream of chicken and mushroom soup
- 5 cups water
- 2 cups chopped cooked chicken (about 10ozs)
- 1 10oz package frozen mixed vegetables (green beans, corn, peas, carrots)
- 1 tsp seasoned pepper or garlic-pepper seasoning
- 1.5 cups dried egg noodles
Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Turkey sausage links spice up this hearty sauce that turns pasta into a splendid main dish
- 4 celery ribs, chopped
- 1 lg onion, chopped
- 1 lg green pepper, chopped
- 2 1/2 C water, divided
- 3 Italian turkey sausage links (4 oz each), casings removed.
- 1 can (29 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 3 cans (6 oz each) tomato paste
- 1/2 C minced fresh parsley
- 5-6 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp each salt and pepper
- 6 C hot cooked spaghetti
- Shredded Parmesan cheese, optional
Cherry Cola chocolate cake-Slow cooker

In a small saucepan, bring cola and dried cherries to a boil
- topping:
- 1/2 C cola
- 1/2 C dried tart cherries
- 1.5 C all purpose flour
- 1/2 C sugar
- 2 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 2.5 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 C chocolate milk
- 1/2 C butter. melted
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1.25 C cola
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1/2 C packed brown sugar
- 2 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 C dark rum
- Vanilla ice cream and maraschino cherries, optional.
Chicken Pad Thai

1. Place noodles in a large bowl
- 8 ounces rice noodles (Vietnamese bahn pho or Thai sen-mee)
- 1/4 cup salted peanuts, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lime peel
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 4 1/2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Asian chile sauce with garlic
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast or turkey, cut into bite-sized strips
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
- 1/3 cup sliced green onion
- 2 tablespoons snipped fresh cilantro
