I searched and finally found this recipe on the internet
- 2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 -2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
Savoury Blue Cheese & Pecan Appetizer Tarts

Preheat oven to 450. Place tart shells on a rimmed baking sheet
- 36 prepared mini 2-inch tart shells, unbaked
- 1/3 cup crumbled Canadian blue cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup 35% Real Whipping Cream
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch pepper
- 2 tbsp red pepper jelly
Lentil Granola Bars

Pureed lentils add protein to these homemade granola bars that are drizzled with milk chocolate
- 2/3 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 2 cup quick cooking oats
- 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 2/3 cup bran buds
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 cup lentils (drained and rinsed then pureed)
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips melted
- Note: one 398 ml can of lentils will be a double recipe
Panna Cotta

In a very small saucepan sprinkle gelatin over water and let stand about q minute to soften
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin ( about 1 tbsp)
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup half and half
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Lentil Salad

In medium pan combine lentils and 4 cups of water bring to a boil, reduce heat, cook until tender, but not mushy
- 1 cup brown lentils rinsed and picked
- 2 strips bacon, cut 1/4 inch pieces
- 1 med onion finely chopped
- 2 carrots, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 3 tbs olive oil
- salt and pepper

- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Heat oven to 350 Combine cookie dough, cocoa, nuts and coffee until well blended
- 1 pkg pillsbuy refrigerated sugar cookies
- 1/4 c cocoa powder
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1 tbsp freese dried instant coffee granules
- 1 pkg chocolate kiss
- 1/4 c icing sugar
Beef Chili - Slow Cooker

In a large skillet, sauté the onions, garlic, and bell peppers in the oil until soft
- 2 medium yellow onions, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 green bell peppers, chopped
- 1 tbs extra-virgin olive-oil
- 2 lbs chuck beef
- 2 14 0z cans pinto beans, drained
- 14 oz can tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 4 oz can green chilies, chopped
- 1 tbs dried oregano
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup beef or chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream for garnish
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese grated for garnish
- 2 tbs green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish
