- 1 lb ground chuck (80/20)
- 1 lb ground sirloin
- 2 cups cold water
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons coarse black pepper
- 1 3/4 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons dried garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes (use a real onion, chopped finely)
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup ketchup
- 4 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Strawberry Banana Pineapple Bread

Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries cut in 1/4's
- 1 small banana chopped finely
- 1/2 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple drained with 1/4 cup juice reserved
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened.
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons pineapple juice
SUMMER PASTA SALAD

Do not use quick cook noodles
- ~ 1 box of Tricolor Rotini Noodles
- ~ 1 cup of Light Cucumber Ranch Dressing or regular Ranch *You could add any kind of dressing to this that you like.
- ~ Half of a Green Pepper cut into pieces
- ~ Half a Red Pepper cut into pieces
- ~ 1 stalk of celery, chopped finely (optional)
- ~ Half a cucumber, sliced and cut into pieces.
- ~ Half a package of pepperoni's cut (could use cooked and chopped bacon)
- ~ 1 cup of shredded cheese (any kind you like)
- ~ Salt and pepper to taste

- 1/3 cup (5 1/3 tablespoons) unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 5 tbsp amaretto liqueur

- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp amaretto liqueur
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

Mississippi Roast

I would recommend a can of au jus instead of a mix
- 1 stick butter/margarine
- 1 packet ranch mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 6-8 pepperoncini
PESTO

In a food processor or blender, blend together basil, nuts, garlic, and cheese
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 3-4 cloves garlic (I think the more, the merrier!)
- 3 cups fresh basil leaves, packed
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste (or about 1/2 tsp. of each)
- pour in the pesto and freeze.
COPYCAT CHIPOTLE CILANTRO-LIME RICE

- 1/4 cup butter, divided
- 2 cups heavy cream
My Maryland Cream of Crab Soup

Smooth and creamy. It's all about the crab! Horror - do not add corn or green onion or green pepper
- 1 lb. lump crab meat (gently picked through)
- 1 pint half and half
- 1 pint cream
- 2 cup chicken stock
- 3/4 stick butter (don't think about it, just do it)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced finely, very finely
- 1 stalk celery. diced finely, again, very finely
- 1 tsp. Old Bay to sprinkle on top if desired.
- Salt and Tabasco to taste
- 2 tsp parsley, finely chopped
- Dry Sherry, if desired (served at the table to add about 1 tsp per person)
