Aunt Mary's Lemon Jello Pound Cake

Ok, this recipe is a childhood favorite
- Cake:
- 1 box Duncan Hines Deluxe yellow cake mix
- 1 small box lemon Jello
- 2/3 cup oil
- 2/3 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons lemon extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- .........................................
- Glaze:
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- Juice and rind of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons of orange juice
- (I also like to add about 1 tablespoon of orange zest)
Herbed Chicken Cutlets with Parmesan Panko

- 1 cup Panko crumbs
- 1 tablespoon chopped assorted fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, rosemary)
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan
- Salt and pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to about 1/4 inch thick
Cheeseburger Soup

- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 3/4 cup shredded carrots
- 3/4 cup diced celery
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 4 cups diced peeled potatoes (1-3/4 pounds)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups (8 ounces) process cheese (Velveeta), cubed
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup sour cream
