- 12 garlic cloves
- Olive Oil
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Escarole - 3 smaller bunches
- 3 celery stalks chopped
- 1-2 cans cannellini beans
- 4 pieces italian sausage (sweet/hot)
- Parmesan cheese- 1/3 cup cubed pieces
- Parmesan grated cheese
- Sea salt
- Fresh ground pepper
- Red Pepper flakes
Penne a la Vodka

- 1 lb. mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/4 sticks butter
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 6-8 plum tomatoes (puree in food processor)
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 3/4 cup grated pecorino cheese
- 3 tsp fresh chopped parslay
- dash o chili powder
- up to 2 lbs penne pasta

- Dough
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar
- Lemon topping
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. granular sugar
- 4 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. lemon rind
Pecan Pie

Chop the toasted pecans by hand or the best texture; a food processor will grind them too small
- Crust
- 1 1/4 cup (6 1/4 ounces) unbleached all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting work surface
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon table salt
- 3 tablespoons chilled solid vegetable shortening
- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
- 4 - 5 tablespoons ice water
- Filling
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup (7 ounces) packed dark brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon table salt
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whole pecans (8 ounces), toasted and chopped into small pieces
Blackberry Walnut Cookie

It's a holiday party—you must have cookies
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup walnuts, toasted, cooled, and finely chopped
- 1/2 About 1/2 cup seedless blackberry or raspberry jam
- Garnish: confectioners sugar for dusting
