- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 cup light brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 cup apple butter
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tblsp steak sauce
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
SPAGHETTI RICE

In a large saucepan, heat 3 Tbsp oil over medium high heat; add mushrooms and onions and saute until light brown
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
- 8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup (about 4 oz) spaghetti, broken into 3 inch pieces
- 1 1/2 cups long grain or whole grain rice, uncooked
- 3 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
Baked Custard Rice Pudding

French Onion Soup

- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 4 cups thinly vertically sliced sweet onion
- 4 cups thinly vertically sliced red onion
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 8 cups beef broth
- 1/4 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- 8 slices French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 8 slices Swiss cheese (such as Alpine lace)
Hollandaise Sauce
