  • For the Frosting:
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
  • Scant 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • Scant 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Scant 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • Scant 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
