- 2 1/4 cups (270 g) whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (120 g) plain low fat yogurt
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy milk or low fat milk
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) egg substitute or 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup (170 g) butter or heart-healthy butter spread
- 1 cup (200 g) sugar
- 1 – inch x 1/2 – inch (2.5 cm x 1.3 cm) strip of lemon peel
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger or ginger paste

Preheat oven, 350° spray a roaster or cookie sheet with Pam spray
- 9 cups of any dry cereal
- 1 cup of slivered almonds or pecans(mix together)
- 1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
