  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 1 1/4 1/4 c. Water
  • 2 2 2 tbls. Butter (melted)
  • 2 2 2 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 4-5 4-5 4-5 drops yellow food coloring (if desired)
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 c lemon juice
  • Cream cheese Filling:
  • 2 2 2 pkgs. (8oz) cream cheese softened
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 c confectioners sugar
  • 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 c whipped topping
  • 1 1 1 tbl. Lemon juice
  • prepare lemon filling:
  • Cream cheese filling:
  • 1/2 cream cheese and sugar in large bowl until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and lemon juice. Refrigerate 1/2 c. for garnish. Spread remaining cream cheese mixture into pie shell. Top with Lemon filling. Refrigerate overnight.
  • to reserved cream cheese mixture with pastry bag to decorate. You can also use your own whipped cream recipe.
  • Store in refrigerator.
