- 4 large egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar

Cod with Lemon-Parsley Sauce

- 8 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, divided
- 2 Tbsp plus 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves, divided
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper, divided
- 6 (1-inch-thick) fresh cod fillets
