- 1 fifth Everclear

- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup light soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 8 to 12 chicken legs with skin (3 pounds total)
- 1 cup uncooked white rice

- 1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese, softened

- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) package jumbo pasta shells
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 (32 ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 8 ounces grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (28 ounce) jar pasta/marinara sauce
- 1 pkg frozen spinach thawed with all water squeezed out
MICHIGAN PASTIES

Hand held meat pies made for miners decades ago
- Pastry
- 2 C shortening
- 2 C boiling water
- 5 1/2 to 6 C all purpose flour
- 2 tsp salt
- Filling
- 6 lbs red potatoes, peeled and cut in 1/2" cubes
- 3 lbs rutabagas, peeled and cut in 1/2" cubes
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 Tbls salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 butter
- Half and half Cream (OPTIONAL)

In a skillet that has a tight fitting cover, heat olive oil over medium high

- 1 1 1 cup diced onion
- 1 1 1 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 1 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
- 1 1 80/20 pound ground beef, 80/20
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 2 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 2 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup long grain white rice
- 2 2 2 tablespoons tomato paste

- 1 1 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 cup finely grated carrot
- 1/4 cup finely chopped toasted walnuts
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 seedless cucumber
- 12 pieces thinly sliced white sandwich bread, crusts removed
- Garnish: finely grated carrot
Bangers and Mash

Quick common Irish dinner
- 1/4 cup milk
- 7 tbsp butter, divided
- 8 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and diced into 1 inch cubes
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 8 Fresh Artisan Sausages
- 12 oz Irish ale, any flavor or brand you prefer
- 1/2 cup water or vegetable stock
- salt & pepper, to taste
Soup, Ham and Bean

Bring the water and beans to a boil in a large saucepan or Dutch oven; boil for 2 minutes
- 8 cups water
- 1 pound Great Northern beans (or navy beans) or mixed beans
- 2 cups diced cooked ham
- Optional: 1 ham bone (or ham hock)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1 or 2 ribs celery, chopped or sliced thinly
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
