Pizza Swirl Bread

1. In a small saucepan, combine milk and 2 tablespoons butter over low heat
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 6 ounces provolone cheese, freshly grated
- 4 ounces grated parmesan cheese
- 20-30 slices pepperoni, or however much you would like
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce, or more if desired
- 1 tablespoons italian seasoning
Veggie Omlet

In a bowl, beat together the egg whites, spinach and onion powder
- 1/4 cup egg whites (sometimes I add in a full egg, with the yolk)
- 1 handful of baby spinach
- 1/4 teaspoon (about a pinch) onion powder
- 1/4 cup halved cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup shredded low fat (or skim) grated mozzarella cheese
- Note: A few vegetables I like to sub in are steamed asparagus, sauteed mushrooms, or steamed broccoli.
Soft Lofthouse Style Frosted Cookies

In a medium bowl, whisk 5 cups of flour, baking soda, and baking powder; set aside
- For the Cookies:
- 6 cups flour, divided
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup butter, at room temperature
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups light sour cream
- For the Frosting:
- 1 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 6 tablespoons heavy cream
- Several drops food coloring
- Sprinkles
Homemade Cheese Crackers

Combine flour, butter, cheese, salt, and cayenne in a medium-sized bowl
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 (7-ounce) bag grated extra-sharp 2% reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or paprika)
- 5 tablespoons cold water
Chicken Paprikash

1. Brown chicken in shortening lightly
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1-3 # chicken
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package instructions; drain well
- 12 ounces linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 ounces crumbled goat cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish
- 1 (12-ounce) jar roasted red peppers, chopped
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Graham Cracker Cake

1. Cream butter and sugar
- 6 egg yolks beaten until light colored
- 1 cup ground walnuts
- ½ lb. sweet butter
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 6 eggwhites beaten stiff
- 1 lb. or 50 graham crackers ground
Chicken Fried Rice

Chinese for dinner? Chicken fried rice is easy to make and a meal that everyone loves
- 4 cups rice, prepared
- 1/2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked
- 1 cup peas & carrots, frozen
- 1 small white onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
Pumpkin Spice Latte

In a saucepan combine milk, pumpkin and sugar and cook on medium heat, stirring, until steaming
- 2 1/4 cups milk
- 2 1/2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice or more if you like the spice! (Cinnamon and nutmeg will work just fine, use 3 parts cinnamon to 1 part nutmeg)
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 2 shots espresso (about 1/4 cup of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee if you don't have an espresso machine.)
