  • Coffee Syrup:
  • 1 1 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 2/3 2/3 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/3 1 1/2 30-second 1 water in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at high 1 1/2 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, stirring at 30-second intervals. Stir in coffee and brandy. Let cool 1 hour.
  • Note: Vanilla extract may be substituted for Vanilla Bean Paste.
  • Mascarpone Frosting:
  • 2 2 packages 2 (8-oz.) packages mascarpone cheese
  • 3 3 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2/3 2/3 2/3 cup sugar

  • Double Pork Sausages:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 . Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Place rack in upper third of oven.(Preheating the baking sheet ensures that the bacon and sausage are not only fully cooked through but also crispy.)
  • 2 . Place a small baking sheet in the oven to preheat for 2-3 minutes.
