In a bowl, whisk together the egg white, 2 tablespoons of the cornstarch, the Mirin, and the soy sauce

- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1 in.

- 12 dry red chile peppers
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic

Oatmeal Strawberry bread

1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1-1/4 pounds fresh strawberries sliced
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
Glazed Lemon Pound Cake

Lentil and Black Bean Chili

- 1-1/2 cups dry lentils, French variety, picked over for

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 sweet red pepper diced
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Ground Cumin Seed
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 29 oz. canned diced tomatoes, fire roasted with chilies

Beef with Barley and Vegetables

Heat a Dutch oven over medium high heat
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 medium potatoes, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 cup low sodium beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 teas. onion powder
- 1 teas. garlic powder
- 1/2 teas. dried thyme, crumbled
- 1/4 teas. salt
- 1/8 teas. pepper
- 15 oz. can sweet potatoes, drained
- 2 cups frozen no salt added green beans
- 1/4 cup quick cooking barley
Sesame Broccoli

On a rimmed baking sheet, toss broccoli with olive oil
- 1 lb. broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Broccoli Rabe w/ Garlic and Almonds

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil
- 2 bunches Broccoli rabe (about 2 lbs.)
- 2 tbsp EVO
- 3 garlic cloves thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- coarse salt and ground pepper
Sautéed Spinach

- 1 pound baby spinach leaves

- 1-1/4 cup oil
