Linguine with fresh tomato sauce

Banana Marzipan Loaf Cake

- Butter or oil for greasing the pan
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 3 medium overripe bananas, mashed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 7 oz. marzipan

Green Beans with toasted garlic and tomato

1. Bring large pot of salted water to a boil Cook beans until just tender, about 5 minutes
- 1-1/2 lbs. green beans, trimmed and cut into 2 in lengths
- 1/4 cup EVO
- 1/3 cup thinly sliced garlic (about 10 cloves)
- 1 cup halved cherry or grape tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried mixed Italian herbs, such as thyme, rosemary and oregano
- 1/2 cup reduced sodium chicken broth
Chicken and Andoouille Etouffee

- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 onion diced
- 1 small green bell pepper, diced
- 2 celery ribs, finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper
- 1 andouille sausage (about 3 oz.) cut omtp 1/2 inch
- dice
- 1 tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1 lb skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch
- pieces
- Steamed rice and hot sauce, for serving

- 1-2/3 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoon vanilla

- 1-1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips

- 2 lbs. red cabbage (about 1 small head) halved, cored and cut into 1/2 inch chunks (10 cups)

- 3 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
