Strawberry Cake

Mix well. Add 4 eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition
- Icing:
- 1 pkg white cake mix + 3 Tbsp flour
- 1 scant cup Wesson oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 pkg Strawberry Jello
- 4 eggs
- 10 oz pkg frozen strawberries thawed
- 1 pkg powdered sugar
- 1/4# butter or margarine

Pretzel Peanut Bark

Line a rimmed cookie sheet with parchment or waxed paper
- 18 (1-ounce) squares white chocolate
- 3 cups skinny pretzel sticks, broken into small pieces but not crushed, then measured
- 2 cups dry salted peanuts
Tart, Tomato and Fontina

Preheat oven to 425°. Press crust into an 8-inch tart pan, or similar shallow pan with a removable bottom
- 1 store-bought pie crust (see Note)
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1 1/4 teaspoons kosher salt
- 3/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 1 1/4 cups shredded fontina cheese
- 1 clove garlic, sliced thin
- 1 tablespoon shredded basil
Crockpot Italian Sausage Soup

Brown the sausage, onion, and green pepper; drain
- 1 lb. Italian sausage (hot or mild, your preference)
- 1 medium onion coarsely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1/2 slices
- 1 14 1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes with juice
- 1 15 oz. can great northern beans
- 2 14 oz. cans beef broth
Pomegranate Martini

Shake ingredients in a shaker and put in chilled martini glasses
- 1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice
- 2 oz. Absolute Citron vodka OR white tequila
- 1 oz. Contra liquor
- Cup of ice
- Optional: Splash of sparkling water
- Optional: Squeeze of lemon

Melt sugar, marshmallows, water and milk, then boil 10 minutes, stirring constantly to avoid scorching
- 4 cups granulated sugar
- 20 marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 large can Pet® milk
- 18 ounces chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 pound butter or margarine
Fudge, Divinity

Combine sugar, syrup, water and salt in a 3-quart saucepan
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts and/or candied cherries (or mixture of both)
Edamame Dip

In a medium skillet over medium heat, roast the garlic, turning frequently, until light brown, about 15 minutes
- 4 large cloves garlic, un-peeled
- 16 ounces shelled edamame beans (about 2 cups)
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- Pinch salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
- Pita chips, for dipping
Italian Style Deli Roll

- 2 tablespoons cornmeal
- 1/2 pound sliced provolone
- 1/2 pound sliced roast beef
- 1 cup sliced turkey pepperoni (4 ounces)
- 1 jar (12 ounces) roasted red peppers, drained
- 2 loaves (1 pound each) frozen bread dough, thawed
- 1 large egg white, slightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
