- 3 cups (15 ounces) all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest plus 3 tablespoons juice
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs plus 1 large yolk, room temperature
- 18 tablespoons (2 1/4 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups (14 ounces) sugar
- FILLING
- 3/4 cup (5 1/4 ounces) sugar
- 3 tablespoons low- or no-sugar-needed fruit pectin
- Pinch salt
- 10 ounces (2 cups) fresh or thawed frozen blueberries
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest plus 1 tablespoons juice

Make the sauce by heating 2 tsp of vegetable oil in a medium saucepan over med/low heat
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger , minced
- 1 tablespoon garlic , chopped
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- vegetable oil , for frying (about 1 cup)

- Four 1 gal. Indian Summer Apple Cider.
- Please note: It's important that you use this brand of juice. I tried other apple juices and ciders and didn't have the same taste.
- 2 Jars Hershey Caramel
- 1 pint Whipping Cream
- 2 Tbsp. Cinnamon Extract
- 2 Tbsp. Ground Cinnamon
- If we broke this down to serve 4 people. You can play with this how way you think tastes best.
- 4-5 cups Indian Summer Apple Cider
- 1/4 cup Hershey Caramel
- 1/4 cup Whipping Cream
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Extract
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
