Turkey Sausage

Mix ground meat with fennel, paprika, parsley and grill seasoning
- 1/2 pound ground pork, chicken, or turkey breast
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 Tablespoon grill seasoning; preferred Montreal Steak Seasoning

Place yeast in a cup, cover with warm water to rise
- Dough:
- 2-3 pkgs fast acting yeast
- Warm water to cover yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2-2 1/4 cups warmed milk
- 2-3 T buter
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 eggs, beaten at room temperature
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 5-6 cups flour
- Filling:
- 1/2 cup cream per kuchen
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/2-3/4 cup sugar
- pinch salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Corn: Creamy Confetti Corn with Bacon

In a large nonstick skillet, cook the chopped bacon until golden and crisp
- 8 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 12-ounce packages frozen corn kernels, white or yellow
- 1/2 cup chopped onion, white, yellow or red
- 1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 4 oz cream cheese, light or regular, cubed (see note below)
- 1-2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 green onions, green parts finely chopped (white parts discarded)
- (try making a roux with 2T butter, 2T flour, 1 cup milk, 1 t salt, 1/2 t pepper & 1/4 cup monterey jack cheese instead of cream cheese)

1. Stir together kosher salt, dark brown sugar, rubbed sage, dried thyme, black pepper and garlic powder
- 3 Tbsp. kosher salt

- 2 tsp. rubbed sage

- 1 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Butternut Squash Fettuccine Alfredo

Arrange a rack in the middle of the oven and heat to 425 F
- 3 cups (1-inch) cubed butternut squash (about 1 1/4 pounds)

- 4 cups white sugar
- 4 pint mason jars or 8 half pint jars with lids and rings
- Stockpot with lid big enough to hold jars
- Canning set with funnel,jar grabbers,knife/head space ruler and magnet stick

- 1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temp. and cut up
- 12 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- Ice cream, slightly softened
