Granola: Plain Granola

Preheat oven to 325°F. Mix ingredients together and put onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- 2-2 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2-3/4 cup wheat flour (use if you want oat clusters)
- 1/2 cup rice crispy cereal (optional)
- 1/4 cup oil (vegetable or coconut)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup granulated or brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla (optional)
Sweet Rolls: Morning Buns

Instead of using complicated croissant dough for our Morning Buns, we switched to a quick puff pastry recipe
- DOUGH:
- 3 3 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1 1/4 envelope (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant or rapid-rise yeast
- 3/4 3/4 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 24 24 1/4-inch-thick tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices and chilled
- 1 1 1 cup sour cream, chilled
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup orange juice (see note), chilled
- 3 3 3 tablespoons ice water
- 1 1 1 large egg yolk
- FILLING:
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 1 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
- 2 2 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 1 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Beef Stroganhoff (Slow Cooker)

Dredge stew meat in flour
- Beef Stew Meat
- 1/4 cup flour
- Pkg of Lipton Beefy Mushroom Soup
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- Dry sherry
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 lb white button mushrooms
- Butter
- Dry sherry
- 1 Tbsp. dijon mustard
- 2 Tbsp. sour cream
- 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 Tbsp. flat-leaf parsley
Jam/Jelly: Apple Butter

- 5 lbs. apples, quartered, about 8 apples (do not peel or core apples)
- 2 cups apple cider or water
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 3/4 tsp. ground allspice

Lemon Chess Pie

A cousin to custard and translucent pies, the chess variety has been around since the 1800s
- 5 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups plus 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest and 3 tablespoons juice from 1 lemon
