Great recipe! I (generously) drizzled the chocolate over the cookies instead of dipping them in it
- Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour, plus more for surface
- 1/2 cup unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 ounces (5 tablespoons) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 3/4 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
- 8 large candy canes or 30 peppermint candies, crushed
- 2 pounds white chocolate, coarsely chopped

- 1 whole (2 split) chicken breast, bone in, skin on
- Olive oil
- Kosher salt

- 2 quarts homemade Chicken Stock (see recipe)
- 1 cup medium-diced celery (2 stalks)
- 1 cup medium-diced carrots (3 carrots)
- 2 cups wide egg noodles
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 3 5 -pound roasting chickens
- 3 large yellow onions, unpeeled, quartered
- 6 carrots, unpeeled, halved
- 4 celery stalks with leaves, cut in thirds
