  • Casserole:
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup of chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 can of red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can of whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can of condensed tomato soup
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning or cayenne pepper
  • Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 (12 count) roll of refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons of cornmeal
