Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter (I used Peanut Butter & Co. cinnamon raisin swirl)
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
Chicken Nuggets

On a plate combine flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1” chunks)
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup dry Italian breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter (melted, if baking in the oven)
- Oil (if deep frying)
Deep-dish Chocolate Chip, Caramel, Toffee Cookie

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 Tbs vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel bits
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
7up Biscuits

Preheat oven to 450. Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add 7-Up
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup 7-up
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Slow-Cooker Applesauce

Peel and core apples; chop into about 1/2-inch pieces
- 12 c. chopped baking apples (about 4 lbs. of apples)
- 1/3 to 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Easy Almond Rice

Combine boiling water and bullion cubes; stir until dissolvedand set aside
- 3-1/2 cups boiling water
- 4 to 5 cubes beef bullion
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups long-cooking rice, uncooked
- 4 to 5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 to 5 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
Freezer Breakfast Tacos

First cook bacon or sausage or any other ingredients
- 1 dozen eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 lb bacon (12 slices)
- 6 oz cheese
- 12 flour tortillas
Crock Pot Northern Beans & Ham

Sort the beans for any pebbles and the rinse beans under cold water
- 1 - 16 oz package dried northern beans (1 lb)
- 3 -4 meaty ham shanks, hocks or ham (1 - 1 1/2 pounds)
- 1 - small onion, diced
- water, enough to cover beans
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/3 - cup light brown sugar
Chili Mac and Cheese

1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil
- 1 box cavatappi (or your preferred short pasta)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Brown meats together and drain
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. sausage {I used Jimmy Dean, HOT}
- 1 medium jar of salsa {I used PACE Picante Sauce}
- 2 pkgs. cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded cheese {I used colby & monterrey jack}
