Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat
- 2 tablespoons neutral-tasting oil, such as grapeseed or vegetable
- 6 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 slightly heaping tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- Pinch ground cloves
- 2 cups ketchup
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup dark molasses
- 1/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons English-style dried mustard
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 bay leaf

- 4 teaspoons grated lime zest
- 1/2 cup lime juice from 2 to 3 medium limes
- 4 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- 1/2 cup lemon juice from 2 to 3 medium lemons
- 1/4 cup superfine sugar
- pinch table salt
- 2 cups crushed ice
- 1 cup 100 percent agave tequila, preferably Reposado
- 1 cup Triple Sec

1. Place all ingredients, except cabbage, into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid
- 2 cups (480 ml) chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) white wine
- 1/2 (35 g) small onion
- 1/2 (31 g) medium carrot
- 1 (300 g) large potato, baked, quartered
- 1/4 teaspoon caraway seed
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 cups (350 g) chopped cabbage
Flays Spaghetti and Meatballs

Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in a small sauté pan over medium heat
- 2 tbsp, plus 1 cup pure olive oil or vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 lb ground white meat turkey
- 4-6 tbsp dried bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp pure olive oil
- 1 medium Spanish onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/8 - 1/4 tsp red chile flakes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 (28-oz) cans plum tomatoes and their juice, pureed in blender
- 1 small Cubano pepper (or Cubanelle, banana pepper)
- 8 sprigs fresh flat leaf parsley
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 lb whole wheat spaghetti, cooked al dente
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- Wedge of Parmigiano Reggiano
- Fresh basil sprigs, for garnish

- 1 2-pound salmon fillet, skin removed
- 1/4 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 medium garlic cloves, finely minced

1. In large mixing bowl beat butter with electric mixer on medium to high speed 30 seconds
- 1-1/2 cups butter, softened
- 1-1/3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla

- 1 recipe Powdered Sugar Icing
- Green colored sugar
- Candied red cherries, sliced
