1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
- Brush on Top:
- 2 1/2 cups Bisquic baking mix
- 4 tablespoons cold butte (1/2 stick)

- 1/4 cup cold whole milk
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspon grlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

- 1 cup (240 ml) chicken, vegetable, or beef stock
- 1/4 cup (40 g) chopped onion
- 1/4 cup (28 g) shredded sharp Cheddar or Swiss cheese

- 1 large tomato, quartered

- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- Juice of 1 medium orange, (about 1/4 cup)
- 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cognac, (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Zest of 1 lemon, (about 1 tablespoon)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 6 slices bread, such as brioche, sliced 1-inch thick, preferably day-old
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Pure maple syrup, (optional)
Tilapia with Green Beans

Combine the flour, oregano and parsley in a shallow dish
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano, plus more for garnish
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 4 6-ounce tilapia fillets
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 pound thin green beans or haricots verts
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 cup grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
- Juice of 1 lemon
Dulce De Leche Coffee

Combine the 2 chocolates, orange liqueur, 1/4 cup water, and the vanilla in a heat-proof bowl
- Whipped Cream:
- 6 ounces good semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 ounces good bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (recommended: Grand Marnier)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
- 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 8 extra-large eggs, at room temperature, separated
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
- Pinch kosher salt
- 1/2 cup cold heavy cream
- Whipped Cream, recipe follows, for decoration
- Mandarin oranges, drained, for decoration
- 2 cups (1 pint) cold heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Dash pure vanilla extract
- Whip the cream in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment. When it starts to thicken, add the sugar and vanilla and continue to whip until the cream forms stiff peaks. Don't overbeat, or you'll end up with butter!

For the pasta: Put a large pot of water on the stove to boil
- 1 pound linguini
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
- 2 shallots, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Pinch red pepper flakes, optional
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley leaves

Pumpkin Bread Pudding with Hot Buttered Rum Sauce

Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk milk, pumpkin purée, both sugars, vanilla, eggs, spices, and salt
- Pudding:
- 1 loaf rich egg bread, such as Challah or Brioche equal to about 1 lb., cut into large, 1-inch cubes (bread can be day-old)
- 15-oz. can of organic pumpkin puree (such as Farmer's Market) or regular pumpkin purée
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 2-1/2 cups whole milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Sauce:
- 1 stick (4 oz.) unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 3 Tbsp. dark rum
