- Poppy Seed Honey Dressing:
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup poppy seeds

- Salad:
- 1 medium cabbage, cored and finely shredded
- 2 large carrots, peeled and julienne

- Crust:
- Vegetable oil cooking spray
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) chilled unsalted butter, diced
- 3 tablespoons mascarpone cheese, chilled
- 2 to 3 tablespoons apricot preserves
- Filling
- 1 cup canned pure pumpkin
- Two 6- to 7-ounce ripe Fuyu persimmons, trimmed, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces (or 1 cup of persimmon pulp from two 6- to 7-ounce very ripe Hachiya persimmons)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup mascarpone
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 large eggs, at room temperature
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Salmon: David's Grilled Salmon with Creamy Dill Sauce

Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside
- Salmon:
- (4) 6 — 8 oz. filets, skinless and boneless
- 1 tsp. lemon-pepper seasoning, or to taste
- Salt, to taste
- 2 Tbsp. butter, softened
- Dill Sauce:
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. shallots, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. lemon zest
- 1/2 of a lemon, juiced
- 2 tsp. fresh dill, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Sauce: 5 Ingredient BBQ Sauce

1. Whisk all the ingredients together in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat
- 1 (7-ounce) jar or can organic tomato paste
- 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons spicy Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons BBQ seasoning mix
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 4 cups water
Grandma’s Glazed Meatloaf

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- For the glaze:
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons vinegar
- For the meat loaf:
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2/3 cup crushed saltine crackers or 1 1/3 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup fresh minced parsley or 1 tablespoon dried parsley
