- 1 package (1 lb) fresh strawberries
- 6 oz cream cheese (from 8-oz package), softened
- 24 vanilla wafer cookies, finely crushed (3/4 cup)
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
- 2 oz bittersweet baking chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup white vanilla baking chips
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Ricciarelli, Traditional Italian Almond Cookies

Ricciarelli are wonderful intense flavor almond cookies that originated in the town of Siena, Italy
- 1 cup blanched almonds
- 1 3/4 cups almond paste
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 tablespoons grated orange zest
- confectioners' sugar, for dusting
Buttermilk-Blueberry Breakfast Cake

Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter with lemon zest and sugar until light and fluffy
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 tsp. lemon zest or more--zest from 1 large lemon
- 3/4 cup + 2 Tblsp sugar
- 1 egg, room temperature
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
Blueberry Poppy Seed Coffeecake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- BATTER:
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup dairy sour cream
- FILLING:
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries thawed, and drained on paper towels
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- GLAZE:
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon milk (1 to 2)
Traditional Potato Salad

1. Place potatoes in large pot and add enough water to cover potatoes
- Optional Add-Ins:
- 2 pounds Idaho or red Potatoes, peeled and diced (about 5 cups)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or light mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup finely diced celery
- Diced cooked bacon
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped hard-boiled egg
