Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Brownies

1 In a large bowl mix all ingredients for chocolate chip cookies in the order listed above
- CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH:
- 1 1/4 1 1/4 1/4 c brown sugar, light
- 3/4 3/4 3/4 c crisco
- 2 2 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 1 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 1 1 egg
- 1 3/4 1 3/4 3/4 c all purpose flour
- 1 1 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 3/4 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 1 1 c chocolate chips
- 1 1 1 c chopped nuts ( pecans or walnuts), optional
- CREAM CHEESE FILLING:
- 16 16 2- 8 cream cheese ( 2- 8 oz. pkg)
- 1 1 1 c sugar
- 2 2 2 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 2 2 eggs
Fresh Clam Chowder

Place the clams in a colander and rinse thoroughly under cold running water
- 4 4 4 pounds small, raw Manila clams in the shell
- 1 1 3 1/2-inch red potatoes (about 3 medium), chopped into 1/2-inch bite-size cubes
- 2 2 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 4 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 pound pancetta, cubed or bacon, sliced
- 1 1 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 1 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced

- 2 2 2 large carrots, peeled and thinly sliced into rounds

- 3 lbs fresh tomatoes (I used about 8 vine-ripened tomatoes, but you could use heirloom, plum, or any other kind of tomato you like)
- 1 red bell pepper
- 3-4 cloves garlic, peeled and roughly chopped
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 4 TBSP fresh basil, chopped
- 2 TBSP fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 TBSP balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup water, as needed

- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest
- salt & freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 medium Yukon gold potato, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup carrot, diced
- 1/4 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup frozen corn
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup canned chicken gravy
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp water
- 2 boxes (4 rolls) pre-made pie crust
- 8 slices American cheese, quartered
