  • Dry Mix:
  • Original LC English muffins by Ouizoid
  • 1/2 c golden flaxmeal
  • 1/4 c oat fiber
  • 1 scoop unflavoured whey protein (jarrow brand)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 Tbs Parmesan (green can)
  • Wet Mix:
  • 2 jumbo egg or equiv eggbeaters
  • dollop chia gel (3-4 Tbs)
  • 1/2 cup trader joes light mozzaarella shreds
  • unsweetened almond milk as needed to make dough workable
  • mix together, let sit 5 min fill 6 cup greased muffin top pan. bake 12-14 min 350

  • and which one is the best with tweaks "without wheat bran" do you think?.....if you don't mind?

  • I was really interested that Maru said that the later ones were less soggy as a sandwich (compared to the latest ones), but it seems that itis the wheat bran that helps...maybe???

  • 2 2 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 2 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1 ounce) can 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1 ounce) can 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 cups mild salsa
  • Directions
  • 1 1.Place to to 20 water in a saucepan, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 2 2.Meanwhile, to 20 to breast halves into a large saucepan, and fill the pan with water. Bring to a boil, and cook for 20 minutes, or until done. Remove chicken from water. When cool enough to handle, cut meat into bite-size pieces.
  • 3 3.Preheat to 350 9x13 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

  • Ingredients:
  • Zucchini is a high moisture vegetable and not too tough, which makes it perfect for stir-frying. If you like, feel free to spice up this easy zucchini stir-fry by adding 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of chili paste with the ginger.
  • 2 •2 large zucchini
  • 1 •1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 •1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1/2 •1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 •1 teaspoon sugar, or to taste
  • 1 •1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
  • Preparation:
  • 1 . Cut the ends off the zucchini, and cut diagonally into slices about 1/4-inch thick.
  • 2 . Pre-heat a wok or skillet over medium-high heat until it is nearly smoking. Add the oil, swirling it around the pan.
  • 3 . When the oil is hot, add the ginger and stir-fry until it is aromatic. Add the zucchini. Sprinkle the salt and sugar over. Stir-fry for a minute, then stir in the rice wine or dry sherry.

  • Ingredients [ View Metric ] 2 lbs Flank Steak cut into very thin bite sized pieces
  • 1/3 cup Corn starch
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 1 bunch Green onion chopped into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 tbs Sesame seeds
  • Sauce
  • 1 tbs Oil
  • 1 tbs Ginger minced
  • 3 tbs Garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar

  • Put cut up steak into a plastic bag along with corn starch. Shake well to coat and let sit for 10 minutes.
  • In small sauce pan, heat 1 Tbs of oil until hot. Add red pepper flakes, ginger, and garlic. Saute briefly making sure not to scorch. Pour in soy sauce and water, then add brown sugar. Boil sauce for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly. Remove from heat.
  • Heat about 1/4 cup of oil in wok or large skillet. When oil is hot add beef and stir fry until brown and cooked through. Add sauce and green onions. Cook for 1 minute. Do not leave in pan too long or the sauce will thicken from the corn starch.
  • Remove meet and onions from sauce with slotted spoon and serve over puffed Maifun rice sticks. Garnish with sesame seeds.

  • This corn beef and cabbage recipe is my favorite! Made into a low carb casserole, it's filling and delicious!
  • 99% generally not a big fan of "exotic" ingredients, and the truth is 99% of my meals are a basic meat and veggie. This is one exception that has such phenomenal taste, it's worth the time, and special ingredient.

  • 1 small head •1 small head green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 can •1 can corned beef
  • 3 •3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons •3 Tablespoons of Bacon grease, divided
  • 2 Tablespoons •2 Tablespoons of butter
  • 1 cup •1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup •1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tablespoons •2 Tablespoons of ThickenThin **
  • •salt and pepper
  • Directions:
  • 1 20 large stockpot with water and about 1 teaspoon of salt and boil the chopped cabbage for approximately 20 minutes.
  • 2 take 2 tablespoons of bacon grease and put in a large skillet. Add can of corned beef and chopped green onions. Break apart and cook the meat until it gets a little on the crisp side.
  • Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Drain water from cabbage.
  • 8 8 9 9 or an 8 X 8 or even 9 X 9 and add about half of the cabbage.
  • Now add about half of the corn beef.
  • Add half of the gravy (pretend I took a picture of this - but I forgot!)
  • Repeat cabbage, meat, and rest of gravy.
  • 400 25-30 a preheated 400 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Fantastic!

  • yield 2 dozen
  • 1 cup carbquik
  • 1/2 t. baking soda
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1 T. not/Sugar
  • 1/8 cup diabeti sweet brown
  • 1/4 cup crisco green
  • 1/4 cup lc creamy peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 T. heavy cream
  • 1/2 t. vanilla
  • 1/8 t. sweetzfree
  • 1 T. diabeti sweet white(for coating)
  • 3 hershey's 1 carb bars
  • In large mixer bowl, stir carbquik, soda, salt, not/Sugar, and diabeti sweet brown together. Add remaining ingredients except chocolate and mix at medium speed until well combined, scraping bowl occasionally. Chill dough 30 mins.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Roll small amounts of dough into 1 inch balls and then roll in diabeti sweet white to coat.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes or until light brown.
  • Remove from oven and immediately press chocolate into the center of each cookie.
  • Although very tasty, they were more crumbly when warm than I remember the HC version being
