Spaghetti Sauce II

Directions Heat olive oil in a large saucepan or Dutch oven
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 (28 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons dried basil
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1 pound Italian sausage (optional)

- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 chopped green onion
- 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 pounds salmon fillet(s)

- 4 whole chicken legs
- 2 onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 4 large carrots, cut in half horizontally
- 1 stalk celery, coarsely chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 6 peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup small pasta or rice, cooked until tender (for serving)
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 (28-ounce) can tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram

Pizza Sauce

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth
- 28 oz. can whole peeled tomatoes in heavy puree (RedPack brand preferred)
- 1 tablespoon fresh green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1. Pour 3/4 cup warm water in the bowl of a stand mixer with dough hook attached
- 1 cup warm water (100° to 110°), divided
- 10 ounce bread flour (about 2 cups plus 2 tablespoons)
- 1 package dry yeast (about 2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 10 teaspoon olive oil, divided
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt, divided

- 2 tablespoons yellow cornmeal
- 12 ounces baby eggplant, cut crosswise into 1-inch-thick slices
- 1 medium zucchini, cut crosswise into 1-inch-thick slices
- 1 large red bell pepper, quartered and seeded
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2/3 cup Basic Pizza Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded fontina cheese

San Marzano Pizza Sauce

- 2 cloves fresh garlic minced
- Fresh basil, a couple of leaves chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dried or fresh oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 or 3 teaspoons sugar (reduces acidity)
- 1-16 ounce can of San Marzano tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (good high quality)
- salt to taste, a couple of pinches

- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 medium carrots, chopped
- 2 parsnips, chopped
- 1 celery stalk, chopped

- 4 c. vegetable or chicken stock (I used water and Better Than Bouillion Vegetable stock base)
- 2 large bay leaves
- 2 lbs. boneless chicken breasts
- 1/2 c. fresh parsley, stems removed
- 1 tsp dried dill
- S&P, to taste
- 2 oz. gluten free egg noodles, optional

- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
