- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 1 or 2 bay leaves
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Dash ground allspice or ground cloves
- 3 large carrots, sliced
- 3 ribs celery, chopped
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch

- 3 cups tomato, fresh, chopped very ripe
- 3 tablespoons jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 2 1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 3/4 teaspoon salt

- 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil

Austrian Goulash

A Goulash recipe always contains paprika
- The Foundation of any Goulash
- 2 lb onions
- 1/2 cup oil or lard
- red paprika powder (around 5 ounces)
- 2 qt. cold water
- 1 teaspoon marjoram,
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 bud garlic finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- grated rind of ½ lemon
- For the beefy Goulash
- 2 lb stewing beef (best is the stringy meat from the muscular back part of the shank of the beef leg, or cut up a chuck roast.)
- 1 teaspoon salt, and flour or cornstarch to thicken sauce

- 1 1/2 pounds pork tenderloin, cut in small cubes
- 1 bunch celery, chopped fine
- 1 pound onion, chopped fine

Wings: Place the oil in a deep pan and heat the oil
- Wings:
- 1 quart vegetable oil
- 2 dozen chicken drumies, wing w/small joint removed
- 2 cups Crystal Hot Sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- lemon, juiced
- 1 teaspoon minced shallots
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 pound Maytag Blue Cheese, crumbled
- salt and pepper
- dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 2 eggs, beaten w/1 tablespoon milk
- 2 carrots, peeled and cut into 3" sticks
- 2 celery stalks, peeled and cut into 3" sticks

- Essence: (Emeril's Creole Seasoning)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion power
- 1 tablespoon cayenne
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
Crock Pot Chili Soup

Brown your ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat and drain
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 15-oz cans chili with or without beans
- 15-1/4 oz can corn
- 15 oz mixed vegetables
- 2 14-1/2 oz can Red Gold diced tomatoes (We used the roasted garlic and onion-- yum!)
- 10-3/4 oz can tomato soup
- 2 c beef broth or water
- Garnish: sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese
