Pulse nuts with 1/4 cup sugar in food processor until nuts are finely ground

- 1 stick butter (cold, cut into pieces)

- 3/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, roughly chopped
