Root Beer Baked Beans

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 large white onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced peeled ginger
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 12-ounce bottles root beer (about 3 cups)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons molasses
- 1 tablespoon grainy mustard
- Hefty pinch of red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
- 4 15-ounce cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
Stack-A-Dinner

In skillet brown meat with onion; drain off fat
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce with mushrooms
- 1/4 cup catsup
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed
- 3 drops bottled hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper
- 2 cups uncooked packaged precooked rice
- 1 10-ounce package frozen peas
- 4 ounces sharp process American cheese, shredded (1 cup)
Swiss Pork and Mushrooms

Cut pork crosswise into thin strips
- 1 lb. boneless pork lion chops
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Half onion, diced
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch pepper
- 1/2 cup light sour cream
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Combine yeast, warm water, and 1 teaspoon sugar in a small bowl; let stand 5 minutes
- 1 package dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water (105° to 115°)
- I/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
- 1 3/4 cups skim milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 6 cups plus 1 tablespoon bread flour, divided

Prepare the links according to the package instructions, and bias-slice
- One 19.76-ounce package Johnsonville Italian Links 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 red bell pepper, julienned
- 1 yellow bell pepper, julienned
- 1 green bell pepper, julienned
- 1/2 yellow onion, julienned
- One 28-ounce can chopped Italian tomatoes with herbs
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Penne and Smoked Sausage

- 2 cups uncooked penne pasta
- 1 pound smoked sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
