Country table syrup, shelved near other syrups in the store, is a blend of sorghum syrup, molasses and corn syrup
- SAUCE
- 2 cups country table syrup (sorghum syrup) or mild molasses
- 1 teaspoon cracked black peppercorns
- 6 tablespoons smoky-style Kentucky bourbon whiskey, such as Knob Creek
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled, cut up
- 1 1/4 teaspoons lemon juice
- STEAKS
- 8 T-bone steaks (1 inch thick)
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons kosher (coarse) salt
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground pepper

- 11/3 cups water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1 package devil's food cake (18.25 oz./517 g)
- 2/3 cup English toffee bits
- Ganache and Topping
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 6 mini peanut butter cups, roughly chopped
- Serves 12-16
Velvety chocolate cream pie

Stir together sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in medium saucepan
- 1 9-inch baked and cooled pastry shell (graham cracker crust may be substituted)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3 cups milk
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips (dark or semisweet)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Whipped cream for topping
- Prepare pie crust, cool
Baked Beans in a Crockpot

- 1 C. brown sugar
- 3/4 C. molasses
- 2 Tbs. BBQ sauce
- 2 Tbs. catsup
- 1 large can baked beans
- 1 small can baked beans
- 1 1/2 C. cubed ham
